The building’s design incorporates stone and heavy timber accents to complement the rural and rustic character of the surrounding community. Construction of the new K-5 school, which shares the same site as the existing school, was strategically phased to permit continuous and uninterrupted student occupancy until its completion.
A landscaped linear courtyard anchored by a centrally located Media Center separates the student commons from instructional areas, allowing enhanced daylighting, surveillance and on-grade exterior egress for all 1st floor classrooms.
